Delete your Zawadi account

You can permanently delete your Zawadi account and its data at any time.

In the app

1. Open Zawadi and sign in.
2. Parents and gifters: tap Settings on the dashboard, then Delete Account. Merchants: tap Profile, then Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and confirm.

By email

If you can't use the app, email support@zawadi.app from the email address of your account with the subject "Delete my Zawadi account". We delete it within 7 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your profile, sign-in, mobile number and notification tokens.
• Children's profiles, photos and linked cards.
• Your wallet. Unused points are lost and cannot be refunded, so spend or send them first.

What is kept

Records of card payments, shop purchases and merchant settlements are kept without your name, as required for accounting and tax purposes. Merchants with money waiting to be paid out can delete their account once that amount has been settled.
